What is Data Centre Interconnect?

Data Centre Interconnect (DCI) is the physical and logical connectivity between Fieldbase network infrastructure and your equipment located in the same data centre. When you co-locate servers, routers, or other network equipment at one of our partner data centres, we provide cross-connect – a direct cable link from our infrastructure to your rack.

  • Ordered from data centre provider (e.g., MDXi cross-connect service)

  • Installed by data centre technicians
