Site Installation
We install a Starlink Enterprise terminal at your remote site whether it's a bank branch, field office, offshore platform, or remote facility.
Starlink Enterprise Layer-2 service delivers private VLAN circuits from your remote sites directly to your data centre. Built for banks, financial institutions, telecommunications companies and enterprises requiring maximum performance and security over satellite connectivity.

Starlink Enterprise Layer-2 (L2) is a managed private network service that uses Starlink's low-earth orbit satellite constellation to create secure, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connections between your remote sites and your data centre infrastructure (public or private data centres).
Unlike standard internet connectivity that routes traffic through the public internet, Layer-2 service creates a private VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) circuit. Traffic from your site travels through Starlink satellites and is delivered directly to Fieldbase's network infrastructure at partner data centres where you can connect via a cross-connect cable (fibre or copper) to your own equipment or via a leased line to your private data centre. As a Tier-1 Starlink Partner, Fieldbase maintains a peering agreement with SpaceX, allowing us to interconnect our network infrastructure directly with Starlink's ground station network.
Low latency performance
Private and secure connectivity
Reliable enterprise grade uptime
Latency: 20–40ms (significantly lower than traditional GEO satellite)
Throughput: Dedicated bandwidth based on antenna capabilities (Starlink FHP, V4E or Mini), scalable based on requirements by bundling multiple Starlink antennas to achieve the requested customer throughput.
Availability: 99.5%+ uptime SLA
AES-256 encryption for all traffic
Private VLAN circuits (traffic does not traverse public internet)
No exposure to DDoS attacks or internet-borne threats
Suitable for compliance frameworks requiring private connectivity (PCI-DSS, regulatory requirements)
Seamless integration with MPLS, SD-WAN, and VPN architectures
Supports QoS (Quality of Service) policies for traffic prioritization
Compatible with existing network monitoring and management tools
We install a Starlink Enterprise terminal at your remote site whether it's a bank branch, field office, offshore platform, or remote facility.
We create a Layer-2 VLAN circuit from the Starlink terminal at your site. Traffic is transmitted via Starlink's LEO satellite constellation to SpaceX ground stations.
From the Starlink ground network, traffic is delivered to Fieldbase's network infrastructure at our partner data centres (MDXi, MTN Data Centre, Rack Centre, Galaxy Backbone).
If you're co located in a partner data centre, we provide a cross connect from Fieldbase infrastructure to your edge device. Your remote site then operates as a direct extension of your private network.
Connect remote bank branches to core banking systems without relying on the public internet. Layer-2 circuits provide the security and deterministic performance required for ATM transactions, teller operations, and customer data access.
Establish private connectivity between primary and secondary data centres for failover and data replication. Starlink Layer-2 Service ensures your disaster recovery traffic is isolated from public networks.
Extend your corporate WAN to remote sites where fiber is unavailable. Integrate Starlink LEO satellite Layer-2 circuits as if they were standard WAN links, no special configurations or compromises on security.
Connect drilling sites, seismic operations, or field offices to corporate networks with private, secure connectivity for SCADA systems, operational data, and safety communications.
A streamlined deployment process designed to deliver secure enterprise connectivity with minimal disruption.
Layer-2 provides a transparent network extension of your remote site that becomes part of your existing LAN. This is ideal when:
You need private, deterministic connectivity for compliance or security reasons
You want to manage routing and firewalls on your own equipment at the data centre
You require VPN-free connectivity (Layer-2 doesn't need VPN encapsulation)
You need to run network protocols that don't work well over routed (Layer-3) networks
If you need simpler internet access or don't require private circuits, consider our Layer-3 (routed internet) service instead.
